the bustling New Road area at the heart of Kathmandu, the Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has implemented a ban on on-road parking in the region.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The metropolis not only enforced the parking restriction but also introduced substantial free parking spaces to accommodate the new regulations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">As per the metropolis, parking spaces with a capacity of 2,200 for two-wheelers and 700 for four-wheelers have been allocated at Dharahara and Kathmandu Tower.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">This increase in capacity surpasses the availability of parking spaces compared to the previous setup.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The designated parking building at Sundhara has the capacity to accommodate 1,502 two-wheelers, while Kathmandu Tower offers space for 700 two-wheelers and 300 four-wheelers, as confirmed by Raju Nath Pandey, the chief of metropolitan police.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">In addition to these free parking spaces, there are several commercial parking options available in Tamrakar Complex, RB Complex, Ranjana Complex, Pashupati Plaza, and Bishal Bazzar within the New Road area.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The strategic move by KMC aims not only to regulate traffic but also to provide ample and organized parking facilities
