China’s Top Political Advisory Body to Convene Annual Session on March 4, 2025
Beijing, December 25, 2024 – The third session of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) is set to begin on March 4, 2025, in Beijing, according to a recommendation made during a recent Chairperson’s Council meeting of the committee.
In preparation for the annual session, the 10th session of the Standing Committee of the 14th CPPCC National Committee is scheduled to take place on March 1 and 2, 2025. The Standing Committee meeting will focus on finalizing arrangements for the upcoming gathering.
The CPPCC serves as China’s top political advisory body, bringing together representatives from various political parties, organizations, and sectors of society to discuss and propose strategies for national development.
