Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, inspected the work of easing the burdens of those working at the primary level during a visit to Gangzhongping Village in Changde City, central China’s Hunan Province on Tuesday.
After learning about the improvements in governance efficiency at the grassroots, Xi said the CPC Central Committee has explicitly called for reducing the burden on officials and workers at the primary level and resolutely addressing pointless formalities and bureaucratism.
Xi also urged continuous efforts for streamlining administration.
